Agrobiotech Innovation Forum 2026 has its dates: 27, 28 and 29 October in Lleida

Agrobiotech Innovation Forum 2026 has its official dates. On 27, 28 and 29 October 2026, Fira de Lleida will once again host the annual meeting point for Southern Europe’s agrobiotech sector. An edition that arrives with an explicit tagline: Optimize production without compromising the planet.

The 2026 tagline

This is not a decorative line. It captures the underlying question running through every farm, every cooperative and every executive boardroom in the sector today: how to keep producing more, better and faster without draining the soil, water and energy that make it all possible. The three days of Forum in Lleida will revolve around that question — from the field to the industrial plant, with livestock and by-product valorisation in between.

Three verticals that map the sector

One of the most visible changes is the Forum’s architecture. The six previous thematic verticals consolidate into three strategic axes that more accurately reflect how decision-makers actually think about the sector:

  • Agriculture — From seed to data. Machinery, automation, precision farming, seeds, fertilisers, biological crop protection and water management.
  • Livestock — Efficiency and animal welfare. Nutrition, health, monitoring, robotic milking and renewable energy on the farm.
  • Bioeconomy — The value of the second cycle. By-product valorisation, applied biotech, bioenergy and circular economy.

Each vertical will have its own exhibition floor, dedicated programme and differentiated communications materials.

What’s new

Alongside the new architecture, the 2026 edition will introduce new features designed to improve the performance of those who come to do business:

  • Exhibitor meeting platform. A new service that will let validated exhibitors request 1-to-1 meetings with specific profiles before the Forum. Coming soon — full details and exact launch date will be announced in due course.
  • Expanded networking spaces distributed across the venue: private rooms for closing deals, open areas for informal encounters and meeting points next to each vertical.
  • Educational programme across four conference zones with Spanish and international speakers.

For whom

Agrobiotech Innovation Forum 2026 keeps the qualified audience profile that defines it: over 14,000 trade visitors expected, over 250 exhibitors, farmers and livestock producers, agronomists and field engineers, senior managers from agri-food companies, distributors, technology and machinery manufacturers, researchers, investors and public administrations. The full value chain in Lleida for three days.

On top of that, the Startup Arena: a 1,500 m² space dedicated to emerging innovation, with the Agrobiotech Startup Award (CSA) contest, investor forums, corporate innovation challenges and talks from scale-up founders and VCs.

Doors open now

The exhibitor application window is already open. Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and, in some modalities, capacity is limited. Full information on options, modalities and prices is available in the official Forum dossier.
